More info required.
Do you mean setting one up in Outlook or Thunderbird, or are you talking about setting up a new webmail account?0 -

Without knowing who your email provider is (probably the part after the @ sign in your email address) we can't tell you if you are allowed additional addresses, and if you are, how to create one.0

Well, who do you have your first one with? Most ISP's give you more than one email address.
But the best option is to use Gmail, which gives you as many ISP-independent addresses as you want. You can set that up to download into Outlook, or any desktop email program you like.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Just go to AOL (or gmail, outlook.com, yahoo etc) and set up a new email address in exactly the same way that you set up your first one.
AFAIK, none of the major web-based providers limit the number of addresses you can have (I think AOL used to limit the number you could have connected to your account if they were your ISP, but I'm sure they allow anyone to sign up now).0 -
AOL =TalkTalk.
Much better to use Gmail and then you can leave AOL, should you wish to, without worrying about losing your address.

As above, I'd use a third-party email provider. I like GMX.com, but others like GMail or Yahoo...
You can set up as many email accounts as you like. You can log in to them via their website (known as "webmail") or configure an email client (like Thunderbird or Outlook) to access the accounts for you. One advantage of an email client is that you can use it to check multiple accounts quite easily.0 -
I have mutiple email adresses usually gmail.
I use different emails for various purposes. Only problem is remembering them.0 -
It isn't against the rules to have more than one provider!
I have 3 with yahoo (including a rocketmail), one with fastmail, one hushmail and one with the ISP.
I mostly use yahoo and get automatic notification of yahoo mail via X notifier (Firefox add on)0
