I'm thinking about setting up an affiliate scheme for my new site and wondered if affiliate payments were tax deductable as advertising would be.
Thanks

If it's your affliate scheme then no affliates usually sign a disclaimer when joining stating they are responsible for paying taxes in their relevant country.0

Thanks for that, but that's not quite what I meant.
What I meant was can I claim the money I would pay to affiliates as a tax deductable expense. So, for example, I pay an affiliate £100 would that be a £100 tax deductable expense on my part, as advertisng would be (like buying pay per clicks or banner ads). If not how would I account for it?
Thanks
