How to copy contacts from Nokia 6021 to Sony Experia Z?

I'm considering taking a leap in technology (!) and changing my trusty old Nokia 6021 phone for a smartphone possibly a Sony Experia Z (good deal with Three refurbished phone and appropriate tariff for my needs).
How do I go about copying my phone contacts from my Nokia to the Sony? Although I can save the contacts on my SIM card, the Nokia SIM card is a different size to that of the Sony.
Any help and advice much appreciated.

Last time I exported contacts from a Nokia, I used their software (Nokia Ovi Suite or something) and synchronised the contact list with Microsoft Outlook. Outlook lets you export to a text file as well. You can use the CD that came with the phone or download the software from the Nokia site.
I've owned Sony Ericson phones as well in the past but can't remember how that handles it. Think they have a software as well. The whole process is very long and unpleasant normally when switching phone brands.0 -
If you make a backup using the Nokia software and save it on your computer then the sony pc companion sofware will allow you to import those backups onto the new phone.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0

From what I remember, the Nokia Ovi suite no longer allows you to export contacts to a standard file (csv) whereas the previous Nokia PC Suite software did. Last time I needed to do this I managed to find an old PC suite installer and do it that way although syncing with Outlook if you have the software is usually one of the easier ways.

Update: I called into my local Three store today. They have the facility to copy the contacts from my old SIM card to my new one. Problem solved!0
