A program that is more user friendly, a better layout, a program thats easier to customise, also more settings (not to compicate but to get a sound tuned to the users ear) something that has more codecs and is easily integrated into an OS, also something that will play a lot more file types, plus I can play hours of Zeppelin
Thats why I use Winamp in classic style.
My first image upload aswell
You need the Album List plugin and a new skin!
Agreed that winamp is fabulous though. Use that to play stuff and CDex to rip stuff.0 -

But MPC doesnt have very many good features like a decent equalizer, I reckon MPC for films Winamp for Music, and to convert Bin/Cue to AVI I use http://www.vcdgear.com/ and convert and play via MPC.0 -

Heh, sorry to add I hate iTunes too. It's a good out of the box solution for a lot of people.
But for me there are plenty of better players out there. Winamp is my favourite in Windows. Reasonable light, skinnable, plugins, etc... Very easy to use.
Foobar2000 was ok, although a lot of work.
I Linux I use Rhythmbox. It does exactly what I need it to. Amarok is very good too although I prefer Gnome and Gnome apps."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
I've tried WinAmp, Itunes and Media Monkey - but I keep going back to Media Monkey - a really clean interface IMHO. Only downside is that MM doesn't (seem to) have a plug-in for LastFM.0
