others was still hid at this time and she said
do you know its a displinary when you have coat on why clocking off !
i never knew this as never been told this she never asked for my name,
but im worried now will i get in trouble the other girls must known it was wrong to leave shop floor even though we had nothing to do,
also few days ago i had overtime in another area and the same manager came up to me and goes to me,
where does this go i explian i do not know as i dont usually work in this area i said i go and ask she never gave me chance and she goes,
hope you dont tell the customers that of course i dont i get help even though this manager and me are not acquainted and we dont no each other names

Sorry but this post is very hard to decipher, due to lack of punctuation!
From what i can read, you are in trouble for finishing 10mins early?0 -
i dont do but worried i am ive tried editing see if makes bit of sense i typed too quick0

Stop worrying. It was just a friendly warning. Just be sure not to leave early or put your coat on early again.0

I have never worked at Sainsbury's, but from what you have said, I don't think that you need to worry too much. I think the manager was just telling letting you know the rules.0

When you said " i do not know as i dont usually work in this area i said " thats fine, maybe you could have kept it simple and just said "you would go and as".
Your basically meant to be on the shop floor until the time you finish and not go to the changing rooms, put your coat on then clock out. If you finish again ask anyone else if they need a hand for 10 minutes or so.
If your unsure on anything check your handbook or ask your TeamLeader/Manager.0 -

Maybe I didnt explain it very well or confused you. You finish your shift at 3, go to the clocking in/out machine then changing rooms.
Sounds like they are being sneeky, personally if you hide away like they do and you get caught you might end up in trouble.
Oh and well donw for feeling proud for working.0 -
All I can say is that most supermarkets are funny !!!!!!s when it comes to clocking in and out... Most don't mind you clocking in early but if your 3 minutes late it can result in a verbal disciplinary due to bad time keeping... like if you get spoken to about the same thing more that 3 times then its a written warning.
On the other hands, clocking out before your time could be viewed as skiving ... they want there pound of flesh out of every worker... again clock out early then you gonna get on bother.....at the end of the day you work your contracted hrs and that's it... no more or no less... When I worked for one of these places I did enough of staying over my time to help them out.. soon got my fingers burnt so I worked to my hrs only and screw them for changing them... and if your asked to in the future find out what's the benefit to you or what you gonna get in return0 -
I work on price control for Sainsburys, I usually go to the changing rooms 5mins before my shift is due to end to use the loo and get my stuff and then clock out exactly on time. This is if I have finished my duties though, if not, I would work (and have done so) right up to my finishing time but not a minute more! I've never been told off about this by my team leader but I guess it varies depending who your senior is!0
