Loft Conversions

Hi

I am looking to convert my loft into another bedroom.

I really want to make sure I get a good builder in to do this work. I have tried mybuilder - asked for 4 quotes - 2 turned up, 2 never did. Did not get much confidence from either......!!!

Any other ideas as to where I should be going to get some reputable companies?

If you know of any in Manchester area - please let me know !!

Have any of your neighbours or anyone else in the street had it done or any other building work?

If yes then ask them who did it and would they recommend them? Also ask if you can see what work they did to see the standard of work.

If this is a no go then sometimes the local planning department may be able to suggest a few local builders.
