Our rent has gone up - could this affect Working Tax Credit?

Hi, just hoping that someone can help me out, I've been searching online for ages and haven't found a clear answer. Is your outgoing rent considered as part of the Working Tax Credit calculation?
Basically, I receive Working Tax Credit (at a whole £15 a month! woo!) and my husband is on ESA as he's disabled. We've just been informed that our rent will increase by £50 a month which is going to be really stretching things for us. (Yes, we're looking for somewhere to move to, but need to find a suitable place and save up money for the actual move)
A friend mentioned that perhaps our rent payments may affect our WTC income and if so, we may be able to have it recalculated to take the change into account.
Does anyone know? Or if anyone has an application or change of circumstances form lying around, can you please glance through it and see if there's any questions about rent or household outgoings?
If not, I guess we'll have to tighten our belts again. For the third year running. eeef....

I'm sorry, a rise in your rent would have no effect on your tax credits.
Have you put your details into a benefit calculator to check that you are receiving all the benefits you are entitled to?
