Tried quite a few providers over the past 15 years, ended up with Virgin. Not cheap but is reliable and hassle free and on the one occasion it failed, Virgin were on the ball and had it sorted in less than 48 hours. Bit different to BT, we left them after waiting 2 weeks for an engineer to call!0

I'm with Virgin (Broadband Only) for nearly 2 years now and as comments from Ticked above, although maybe not the cheapest, I have Never had an issue with the service..0

Echoing the above comments, if you can get Virgin cable service then take it. Best service I've ever had although the Plusnet service I've got now matches it.
You can get a TV service with Virgin as well though and when we had it we thought it was far better than Sky. Well worth subscribing to in my opinion.0 -
Another happy Virgin customer here. Reliable, and I have found customer services very good on a number of occasions.
The number of occasions is spread over at least 18 years, 3 of the occasions were equipment fixes and handled promptly.
Their best deals are when you go a bundle. Have a look for offers.
