If it must be MS Office then try asking the school / college.
If it's just for reports then try OpenOffice or LibreOffice. Both are free.
Once loaded set the default document type to MS and you won't know the difference.0 -
For students you could try http://www.software4students.co.uk/t/brands/microsoft-office-2013-software0

Good advice above about alternatives and also asking the School/ College.
Just to add a couple of things if it 'Must be Microsoft'
Microsoft's official 'Student' section of their Store is here:

As for your questions on installing on multiple PCs, Microsoft have changed this with Office 2013/ Office 365.
Office Home and Student 2013 is only a licence for 1 PC, but the licence doesn't expire.
Office 365 Home Premium is similar, has licences for 5 PCs, but the catch is that the price you pay only licenses you for 1 year; after this point you can't use the software to change documents any more unless you pay for another year.
The pricing and specs for the 365 version are, currently at least, better than 2013 (because Microsoft want to encourage people towards a subscription model where people pay every year).
If you can find Office 2010 anywhere, the licensing terms are more favourable.0
