Warning to NRAM/Marlin account holders

Basically, do not trust them to be recording information correctly if you have an expired default/CCJ but are still paying off your debt, keep checking your file.
I had a default in May 2007 and a CCJ in June 2007 (fast movers)! Even after the default had expired, NRAM kept adding new late payment markers and defaults on the account, it took me 18 months in total to get them to stop adding incorrect new defaults and late payment markers on the account. In August 2013 the default was cleared and the account removed from my files. Only for it to appear on my file again in September and get removed again after I contacted them again. Only for it to appear on my file as a new default again in October, which I have just had removed again.
It seems from other forums that I am not the only person with this problem and it may be fairly widespread. Certainly when I received a response to my original complaint they advised they were reviewing their recording system accross the board as they acknowledged they were incorrectly recording expired defaults and CCJs routinely. I dont think this has happened. Worse still, Marlin frankly couldnt give two hoots and managers there also do not know that they should not be recording in this way.
