games console next door :NOISE & JUMPING

We live in a semi detached house and so share a party wall with next door. The noise from the family isn't too bad on most days. The jumping however is! I thinks they have had a new games console, probable a Wii with an interactive game, it could be a dance game which involves jumping. The vibrations seem to come through the floor boards and right though my body. Every night and all day on saturdays and sundays it goes on for hours and hours making my partner and I tense and jumpy ourselves!
Question: is this reasonable behavior? should we go round to complain?
It is a children's game after all. I feel so stressed by it all, I don't know if I'm over reacting or not.
Thank you in advance

I'd pop round and explain. I think most of the time people simply don't realise how noise travels and are unaware that it's affecting their neighbours. Assuming next door are farily reasonable then I'm sure your can come to an understanding.
I recently sorted a noise-from-games-console-at-unsociable-hours issue with a neighbour (single bloke + games console + subwoofer) with a simple chat. it's not the just the noise itself but the vibrations transmitted up through the walls that's the problem. Though I'll add that I'm a flat and that we're fairly strict (but fair) on noise as otherwise it could all quickly get out of hand. Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -

I would be more than happy someone popping round if I was being to noisy or my household. I am often over aware of it as we have a young family and are attached to pensioners. In other words, go round and have a chat. I try to make an effort to get to know my immediate neighbours and tend to think this can make things easier with a bit of a raport.0

Better idea is to invite one parent round when it's going on. I suspect they have no idea of the effect it is having.0
