New boiler or pcb?

I have a Potterton Suprima 60 boiler which according to the seller information forms the previous house owner completed, had replaced in 2005.

That doesn't seem all that old for a boiler - or is it?

It went wrong this morning, it wouldn't fire up but there was power to it and the fan was running. Looking on t'interweb I suspected it might be the pcb, which was confirmed by the engineer (he's just been).

His recommendation was to get a new boiler since the model i have are renowned for pcb issues he says and that they are not cheap.

so my question in true MSE style is what do I do, pcb or new boiler?
