F-Secure SAFE -Virgin's 'new' anti virus-should i install this?

Hi all,

When I logged on today there was a message on my screen from Virgin telling me that the free anti virus programme I get from them would be finishing at the end of Dec. and that I could download 'F-Secure SAFE' for a free 12 month's usage from them.

I started the download but when I got the message that it would remove Windows Microsoft anti virus programme (I run Windows 7) and another one I have got I stopped the download because I became unsure as to whether I was doing the right thing or not.:o

I would be grateful for any help with this :beer: (no stupid answers please )

You should only have one anti-virus running, more than one can cause problems on your computer and clashes between the them.

F-Secure is by all accounts a top-rated antivirus software, so I'd be happy to install that.
