Charity buying on ebay
Options
Hi all,
I like buying things on ebay where 100% of the money goes to the charity. I have alway thought this was strictly enforced by paypal and that the seller cannot say the money is going to charity and then put in there pocket. Do anyone know if my assumption is correct?

If the item is branded as eBay for Charity it will state the percentage going to the charity. eBay for Charity will pass the charity contribution to the charity.
If the seller states in the description that the sale price will be donated but it lacks the eBay for Charity branding, it is up to the integrity of the seller to pass it on.

If it is an official Ebay for Charity item, Ebay will also donate their fees to the charity.
If you pay by PayPal, PayPal fees will still be deducted from the payment0 -
