Well today was the last signing on at the Work Programme at Jobcentre, got told by advisor who signed me on today, she said its going to get tough now that I have finished my 2 year work Programme and I have still not got a Job.
Got appointment on Tuesday 26th of November at 9.40am, this is called (Post work Programme Support) It's to help me get more support and it also states on the letter need to do more things to get me into work.
At the moment these what I do for Jobseeking:
1) Look on Jobsites from 9am - 5pm monday to friday.
2) Keep in touch with Job agencies 3 days a week.
3) Look in newspapers
4) Go around stores to see any vacancies mostly twice a week.
5) Send spec/cvs letters to companies.
There is only so much Job search I can do lol

Now it gets worst as PWP is there to bully and harass and there's another pointless course and more pointless work experience
It's lucky it's only six long tedious months if this0 -

Maybe a work placement but don't really want a course again which involves cvs ete.

why should it get tough, its not your fault if you cant get a job the government are fully aware of the situation,
your entitled to sign on, you need money to live, if this wasnt available the government would have much bigger problems on their hands, they are nasty barstewards. The jobcentre advisors would do well to remember without the unemployed alot of them would be out of a job.
Dont give them access to your account they will tell you that you have to let them see it but they dont. They are underhand.
As for bombarding companies with phone calls and CVS, its a well known fact they are getting thousands daily to look at. There are only so many times you can hassle people for a job.:footie:0 -

I think we will go back to the Work Programme if we still not got a Job.[/QUOTE]
just a revolving door waste of time.
Why dont the government for a start get out there and fly the Flag for Britain and try and create more jobs, more industries etc they are useless. Got the cheek to keep on at Jobseekers what are they doing. They cut jobs also dont create them.:o:footie:0 -

I agree, it's not our fault if the employers don't get in touch for the Jobs we applied so Jobcentre advisors should cut us some slack, what if it was the other way round and we advisors, their won't like it as well.
Yes true about needing money to live because the goverment stats we need this amount to live on, so it gets me mad when people get sanctioned for no fault of their own and their will have no income to live on, there shouldn't be no such thing as sanctions.
Their can pressure me to let them have access to my Universal Jobmatch account but no way in hell I am giving them permission. I have got nothing to hide its just my personal account. on Tuesday when I have my appointment and if my advisor force me to tick them 2 boxes then he will leave me with no choice but to make a complaint if he gets angry :mad:0 -
