Plastic spectacle frames peeling?

Options
I bought a pair of "designer" glasses about 6 months ago and one of the arms has bubbled and some of the plastic (which includes the pattern on the side of the arm) has peeled off a bit. Do you think this would be a manufacturing fault? I'm so disappointed as the glasses were so expensive and didn't expect this to happen. Looks like the patterned side is just a bit of plastic stuck on tightly! i thought the pattern was part of the frame!
The bubbling/flaking is only on one side of the glasses on the inner part. I'm going to take them back to the store but wondered if anyone has had similar experiences? moggy
