So what happens if POPLA fails?

Appeal rejected by parking company so next step is POPLA.

If they also reject, is there any way forward or do I then have to pay up?

POPLA decisions are not binding on the motorist.

They are only a kangaroo court system set up by parking companies, however if they will sling your parking charge out and cost the scammers £27, who are we to complain.
Follow the set rules and points one here, no emotive have your say and bingo, no more scammers on your back and you scam them for £27.

    That will teach em !
    Be happy...;)

Losing at POPLA means nothing to a motorist - just takes you back to square one, like before POFA 2012, when people never used to have an appeals chance at all. In those days everyone ignored the whole scam but certain PPCs are more litigious these days of course. And some are not!

Having said that, we do win 100% of POPLA appeals and it costs the sham industry a fortune, so if you follow advice on your thread you really should win.

  • Thanks. Tons of threads - all a bit confusing.

Is there a standard letter that should be used for POPLA that covers all the main points?

Read through this thread - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4488337

Start from the end (i.e. most recent posts) and work back. You may need to draft your own appeal but you'll spot the points you'll need to make soon enough.
