Hi all
I have recently been made aware that i was found guilty in absentia for failing to keep insurance on vehicle its nonsense and think i have covered all the bases i.e. stat/dec, mp dvla etc. My worry now is i cannot file my stat/dec till 30/1/2014 and any further action regarding the conviction is on hold until then.What do i do in the meantime regarding my insurance`s car,home contents, life,accident,medical device, personal accident?
If i had to make a claim on any before the stat/dec date are the insurance likely not to pay as i have at this moment in time not declared a criminal conviction and if i inform them of my situation can they charge me extra monies ? (which i don`t have). i am not driving my vehicle at the moment. I was also told by an insurance company online they could not give me a quotation at this time when i was searching for renewal prices ?

I think you might be better asking this on the insurance board rather than one dedicated to parking tickets
