New condensing boilers to avoid please/corgi plumbers

Options
I am having central heating and new condensing boiler fitted with a grant from warm front, what i would like to know from those in the trade and the like is are there any particular makes and models to avoid( i know potterton have issues with PCB boards)

also i will be asking whomever turns up for their full name and corgi number and i will check with corgi before allowing them to start,i have heard that non corgi plumbers are installing stuff and then getting it certified by a corgi registered plumber, to me that is not right and being in the building trade myself(before ill health)i would call them improvers which is not good enough where boilers and gas are concerned.

thanks in advance
