1 months car insurance

Hi
Can I ask a question on behalf of my dad?
His insurance for his car is running out soon but he is buying a new car in 1 month so only needs 1 months cover as the new car will have free insurance with it.
Are there any firms that can give you cover for 1 month? Or do you have to get it for a year than claim it back??

I know Budget Insurance used to years ago.

Not sure if they still do but worth a look

Hi - ecarinsurance and hertsinsurance both do this.

dayinsure and tempcover do it by the day for a maximum of 28 days.

I know it's a bit late - but if anyone else is interested - Norwich Union offer short term insurance - only via their website - but this can be for any reason - borrowing a car etc
