UKPC at dept recovery letter -

Evening gents, I got a UKPC ticket on 21st August and your advise seemed then to be 'ignore and make paper darts out of letters.
Location East Midlands.
Now the bottom of your threads say dont ignore and get the reply in within 56 days ! Whats happended to your original advise.
I've had to 2 UKPC letters and now as of 06th Nov at the debt recovery letter stage.
What now since my fault was parked over the lines and colour pics to prove - I paid by cash the purchases i had and dnot have reciepts to offer tangable resons for bing in the car park

Nope, not advised since around March on here and I was advising POPLA before that! Shame you read old threads and not those on page one onwards, in August.

My advice changed nearly a year ago, end of 2012 I started pushing people to try POPLA instead.

Seems that you read old threads and are having a pointless snipe at me now because you only just noticed the current advice? Just because I happened to recently change my signature (which did not tell people to ignore fake PCNs, it quoted Martin Lewis that these firms are cowboys (true) and told people to click on the first page of this forum and read CURRENT advice!!).

So? There are at least two threads near yours about UKPC right now! Other CURRENT threads show you how toothless, desperate and pathetic they are, in fact if you were going to choose a weak PPC to mistakenly ignore in 2013, it would be UKPC! :)

    - Name the driver? - ONLY if the first ticket was a postal one? rewinds the clock...

    - Complain to the retailers assertively, make them cancel if this was a customer situation?!

    - Appeal anyway?!

All covered in the sticky threads 'newbies, have you got a private parking ticket, read this now!' which is at the top of the forum. And another one I wrote called 'successful complaints about PPCs'.

By the way, I wrote that sticky thread and changed my signature recently not because things suddenly changed (they changed a year ago) but because there were too many queries this Summer for us to handle when people kept reading the forum, sussing that they should now appeal but wanted guidance.

Start by reading the other UKPC threads near yours right now...except the Northern Ireland one which is still as per 'old rules'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
