hi i have heard that you can buy a SPECIAL plastic sheet to put over single glazing windows in case of a smash ect can anyone recommend something suitable

yeh, you can get them from your local DIY stores: B&q, Wickes, Homebase etc.
its like a clear or frosted polythene sheet that you apply onto planes of glass, and acts like a safety glass, if you break it, it doesnt break into sharp bits of glass. the clear-laminate like sheet holds the broken/shattered glass onto it.
but you can definately get it from your local DIY stores, and there not that expensive either!0 -
