How do I close a myHermes.co.uk parcel delivery service account?

Hi,Did you find out how? I've sent almost 50 Parcels with MyHermes but am now going to close my account. They do not cover damage to electrical items, however they do throw parcels over 1 meter high walls into customer's gardens. I had two parcels damaged in one week and can not operate a business with such terms and conditions. One customer was totally disgusted to find their parcel in the middle of their back garden knowing there was only one way it could of got there and then even more upset to find the item damaged.


I wrote to the CEO of My Hermes - they did not take my complaint seriously in fact they accused ME of upsetting their delivery driver!!! They then told me the driver went round to my customer's house to have this out with them. Disgusting the driver couldn't just say "sorry".


I have asked them to cancel my account (over the phone) but I'll wait to see if they do actually do so.

How do you know your customer isn't making it up trying to scam you, and that is why the driver has gone round to the customer to defend his reputation?

They never reply to emails, phone calls end with I'll call you back and letters go unanswered (recorded post).

I've just phoned them and got through in less than 2 minutes
