you have been questioning the OP, when you should have been questioning the policies of the parent company of your employer.Where have i said i'm defending them ?
you just wait....every other HSBC policy has eventually made it to FD.There are no "one account" rules where i work.0 -

There's no harm in questioning the OP. After all, if nobody has confirmation of this daft policy (and you yourself said it was a complete fabrication earlier in the thread), then it's likely to be either a poor employee, or a misunderstanding on the part of either the employee or the OP, or both.
The title doesn't have the word "scam" or "lies" in the title -normal indicators of misunderstanding-, but it is still possible that the OP has misunderstood. Mind you, that's not what I draw from the information given.0 -
Could the OP be a bit confused ? They mention that they were told "you have to move everything across" Sounds to me like they were talking about the switching service and the OP has misunderstood ?
I don't think there was any confusion. They asked me if I had a current account anywhere else. I told them I had one at Barclays, and they told me that unfortunately that means I can't open a current account at HSBC, due to the "no split banking" rule.0 -
