We are having a 4x5m extension built and we are just in the process of getting quotes. We have been told that a big part of our costs will be the foundations as we have big trees all around our garden and foundations need to go down 2.5m. My point really is that ballpark figures can vary widely as it depends on a lot of different factors.
You will see anywhere between £1000 and £2000 per square metre quoted as a rough guide."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
The rule of thumb of 1000-1500/sq/m where I'm located.0
