Short term high interest account

I have just completed on the sale of my house and will be renting for approximately two/three months. I am unsure what to do with the equity from my property during this period. I will need to have easy access to the money as I am trying to purchase another property asap.

    Hi Jangor,

You're probably best going for one of the top instant access savings accounts - Icesave at 5.95% or ICICI at 6.05% are the leading ones.

  • ...or go for an esavings account with your current bank/building society - given the short term nature, quicker setup will be important and could outweigh any gain from the odd 0.1% or so.
