Few days sick while on jSA

I was unable to attend JC to sign on for JSA as I was not well, I did arrange to attend 5 days later when I was better. I signed on and told them that I was still looking and applying online for jobs while unwell.
What I want to know is for the days that I was not well do I still receive my JSA for those days as I have just received a payment of £37 in total to cover two weeks money.

While I was signing on, I had a dental appointment at a hospital to go under general anaesthetic to have some teeth out, and I was due at the job centre the day I went to hospital, I let me advisor know a week or so before I was to go in and he signed me off "sick" for a week, I didn't need a week 2 days would of been enough but it didn't affect my benefit at all. When your on JSA you get " 2 weeks sick" a yea, so if you are ill or need to go to hospital then they allow you these 2 weeks to do so, so I cant see no reason why it would be different in your case. I would phone them up and ask them to explain why you only got £37.0

On JSA you are allowed two periods of sickness in a 52 week period. Those periods can be one week or two weeks each so it's possible to receive JSA for four weeks when not actively seeking employment because the claimant isn't required to comply with their JSAg during those periods which must be at least eight weeks apart.0
