Cold room with flat roof. Ideas? Ceiling curtain?

Hi.
We have a five year old flat roof over the houses extension.
The walls have been insulated but the room is freezing so guess the warmth is escaping upwards.
Any cheapish tips for this? I've seen a caravan with like a sheet hanging across the ceiling, would this do much?
