SEHBAC anyone?

We have been getting quotes for an Edwardian conservatory (2.6m X 4m) in the Bromley area, and have received a wide range of quotes from 14k to someone who said we were wasting his time if our budget didn't extend to more than 30k!

SEHBAC have provided one of the more reasonable quotes (closer to the lower end), but I can only find very few reviews for them on the net and find this quite odd.

Has anyone had any experience of SEHBAC? They seem to have all the Kitemark / TrustMark and BS certifications going, and have good salesmen...is their work and after sales any good?

Would really appreciate some views!

Thanks - it *is* a lot of money and I'm reading too many horror stories about companies not completing their work on time or properly.

SEHBAC say they have been doing business for over 40 years and boast of a great track record, but I can't see much about them (feedback or reviews) on the web which is strange and I thought I'd check if anyone here has any advice or experience with them.

I will take your advice and ask for extension quotes too, although the whole planning permission aspect does complicate things somewhat.

A truly reputable company should be able to give you some names of previous clients so you can get real opinion/feedback. Do they have photos of other jobs?

They have invited me to their showroom in Chelmsford, where they say they will have names and contact details - am going to try this out. Thanks for your replies so far.

I too live in the Bromley area and have been tempted to go with SEHBAC. Did you try them in the end?

harshv hasn't logged in since, but the fact they couldn't find much about the company on the web is probably a good sign as people only tend to post when things go wrong.
