JLS Cd has just arrive, no signatures it just has a star, a holly leaf, a music note, and a smile face in each corner.
So that'll be going back.... false advertising calling them 'signed' cd's I think!2013 Wins - Goodreads book, Greggs Sausage Roll, £1,000 Personal Shopping Experience, Golden Dog Bowl, Wedding Story book!!

Amazon confirmed they never went up for sale at all.
I don't really think I need to prove myself to you? I don't really know what you think I'd achieve from lying about something? I don't appreciate being called a 'troll' either.
I managed to get one in the non-lightning way the exact same way people got the JLS CDs. Amazon confirmed that the Lightning Deal never went up but they never said that nobody got one at all, "Unfortunately, due to a technical issue this offer was prevented from being made available to any customer at that time."
I'm happy to prove this to you by posting pictures of the CD and postcard that came with it if that would make you feel better?
Anyway, back to the discussion about deals. I was tempted to buy Buble for my sister's Christmas earlier on but only £2 off wasn't the best deal. I'm sure it'll be that price in the run up to Christmas anyway.
The only other thing I'm really interested today in is the Community DVD boxset tonight and I can't see them going too quickly.0 -

Have you opened the CD? I posted this on the last page but my signed One Direction CD arrived earlier and it has a signed postcard inside the CD case. It might be a similar situation with the JLS one? I phoned Amazon first just to double check I could do that (they only accept returned CDs unopened) and they said I could still return it if it turned out it wasn't signed inside.0 -

Yay! Good for you. It was a great bargain!!Former MSE user - I don't post on MSE anymore, or respond to PMs. I would like to be able to officially set profile to "former user" which would be helpful as it seems you can never leave MSE - just choose not to use it!0 -

Well, the box set of Harry Potter books...... was £29.75 now £23.49 = 60% off?
Amazon need to go back to school I think!
waste of time waiting for that really, cheaper through other outlets and blatantly false advertising!0 -
The discount quoted is off the full RRP if its cheaper than anywhere else it's still a bargain ....if not don't buy that's my motto I'm not too bothered about their marketing methods just want a bargain0

They're basing the savings off the RRP. Which is ridiculous really but when some people see that kind of saving it will probably draw them to buy it without looking at what price it was previously on sale at.0
