None of the festival tents have any reviews ... I'm sceptical.

missed out on coffee syrup again as the phone rang :-(
  • That's really interesting as Amazon themselves confirmed none were sold due to a technical glitch and they'd be on later in the week.

I hate 1D and wouldn't be after one anyway, but I'd hate to think you were trolling those that were.

Some people managed to order it at the non-lightning deal price.

No they didn't. That was the JLS cd.

Have to be careful can get really sucked in to spending loads when so easy few clicks all done without even entering all card details

I just stick to buying either things for presents or things I can do with, but in any case it has to be within the maximum I'm willing to pay for x or y - even if it's only £1 more then I don't buy ;)

So far this week, ordered the world atlas and a sun pendant thing as presents, some cat litter and a car vacuum cleaner :p. I'm eyeing the Python dvd set that's on tonight for a present but only if it's under £18

And it's the first year I've actually found stuff to buy in the BFD week.
Now free from the incompetence of vodafail

I thought people were managing to do it for both the JLS and the 1D CD.
CBA to go back through the thread though.
  • Yay finally I buy for someone else!!! Picked up the Hello Kitty watch as a cheap present for a friend. Seemed a bargain to me at £6 with free delivery to locker. I checked out on Argos £9.99 so not bad I guess. She will be stoked!!:)
Former MSE user - I don't post on MSE anymore, or respond to PMs. I would like to be able to officially set profile to "former user" which would be helpful as it seems you can never leave MSE - just choose not to use it!

No it was only that guy who happens to be new who claimed to do it. But didn't get a bite.

Amazon confirmed they never went up for sale at all.

It went in seconds. I wanted some too, but it disappeared from the 'upcoming section' and got randomly dropped into the 'current' section and by the time I'd scrolled through and found it within seconds it was gone.
Not sure how people are doing this as simply refreshing the item page doesn't work.
