wonder why there is such a big price differance for the black compared to the white , you would think that as long as they do the same job it wouldnt matter on colour , dont think i would pay all the extra just on colour.

It's not the colour, that affects the price. That's just what they call the different models. It goes White, Silver and Black. The White is the lower of the range and the Black Plus is now the top of the range in terms of specifications and features.
