It's only fun til we get to the ne'er to be mentioned kitchen appliance. Then I get my game face on and knock you lot flying to fastest finger first.

I got the Drinkwell platinum fountain a couple of years ago in the black friday sale. My cat ended up seeming to have an allergic reaction to it! Apparently bacteria can grow on plastic that can't be removed with cleaning or bleach and cats can be allergic to the bacteria. He ended up very spotty, so had to get rid.

Might be worth doing some research on the fountains and cats and plastic allergies before you commit. I was going to replace mine with the metal version, but then found out the parts inside were made of plastic and so other people still had the same trouble.

Saying that if they had a nice ceramic version up for sale, I could be in

:rotfl::rotfl: Mine is the same but its the bath rather than the sink. I usually have to shoo her out of it in the morning when I go for a shower.

I'm totally going to give the Black Friday sale a miss - I never see anything I might want, let alone need out of the stuff they offer, most of which seems to be the "hard to shift stuff so we'll stick in the BF deals" :rotfl:

I believe he was so traumatised by the events of last year (including the melt down following the 1D signed CD frenzy) that he left the police force and was last heard of in Bolivia herding goats!

Either that or the poor soul is still locked in Emsywoo's basement .
