You would hope so. I think this is really bad behaviour by the vendor.
If the vendor is willing to do this to the estate agent just think what surprises might be waiting for you further down the line.0 -

I don't think it's your problem. If the vendor gets in a mess over fees etc., it's an issue for him/her.
Just to be picky, you said "the offer was accepted by the online estate agency", but the agent passes the offer to their client, who accepts/declines.Je suis sabot...0
