Terms & Conditions

1. The competition is open to residents in the UK aged 18 or over, excluding Santander employees, agents and anyone professionally connected with this promotion. In addition to this, the £1230 prize draw is open to 123 Current Account & 123 Credit Card holders only and also excludes Santander employees, agents and anyone professionally connected with this promotion.
2. The promoter is Santander UK plc, 2 Triton Square, Regent’s Place, London, NW1 3AN, United Kingdom (“the Promoter”).
3. Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
4. The competition and prize draw open on 20th November at 6pm and end on 29th November 2013 at 12pm. The date and time of entry registration will be automatically recorded and all entries received after the competition closes will be excluded.

1. Entry into the competition and prize draw is made by visiting the Santander Facebook page and clicking on the “Competition” tab. Entrants are required to “Like” the page to enter. Competition entrants must correctly answer the multiple choice question on the entry form. Entrants into the £1,230 prize draw must be 123 Current Account or 123 Credit card holders and will be automatically entered when they enter the Competition provided they tick the box in the entry form to confirm they are a 123 Current Account or 123 Credit Card customer.
2. Entrants must provide their email address and contact details to enter.
3. Entrants can enter the competition and prize draw once per day during the period in which the competition and prize draw are open. Entrants are not eligible to win more than once.
4. No entries are permitted from agents, third parties, syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, script or the use of automated devices. No bulk entries are permitted. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the promotion. Entrants who do not give correct details or those who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
5. Entries not submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or entries which are delayed, duplicated, incomplete, illegible or lost through technical problems will be disqualified. No responsibility is accepted for such entries. Proof of submission online will not be accepted as proof of entry.
6. The information entrants provide will be used for the purpose of entering and administering the competition and prize draw. Information will not be used for any other purpose except contacting the winners
7. There will be one prize of a Meet & Greet with Jessica Ennis-Hill in January 2014. There will be 6 Runner-up prizes as follows:

a) One set of training kit from the Adidas Performance range similar to that worn by Jessica Ennis-Hill in our TV adverts, which is available in male or female sizes plus a T-shirt signed by Jessica
b) 5 x £123.
c) There will also be one prize of £1,230 which is available to 123 Current Account or 123 Credit Card holders only.

1. The ‘Meet & Greet’ prize is supplied by ‘SantanderUK’. The prize is a trip to a Santander TV ad shoot where there will be an opportunity to meet Jessica Ennis-Hill. The prize includes UK transfers to and from the ‘Meet & Greet’ and overnight hotel accommodation in a double or twin room and £500 spending money for the winner.
2. Dates for the ‘Meet & Greet’ will be confirmed with the winner of the Prize not less than 2 weeks before the event . A full schedule for the ’Meet & Greet’ Prize will be provided by SantanderUK not more than one week in advance of the trip.
3. The winners’ guest must be at least 18 years old.
4. We will verify all entrants into the £1230 prize draw to ensure a 123 Current Account or 123 Credit Card is held.
5. All prizes are transferable only at Santander’s discretion; Santander reserves the right to change the dates of ’Meet & Greet’ Prize if necessary. There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part, except in the event of circumstances outside its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar alternative of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter the prize will only be awarded directly to each winner.
6. The ’Meet & Greet’ Prize Competition and Runner-Up winners will be selected at random from all the entries who have answered the questions correctly under independent supervision within 2 working days of the competition closing.
7. The £1230 winner will be selected at random from all verified entrants into the Prize Draw.
8. The winners will be notified using the contact details provided at entry within 10 working days of the competition and prize draw closing, and will be given details of how to claim their prize.
9. In the event any claim for a prize is not received by the Promoter within 2 days of such notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original.
10. The £1230 Prize Draw winner and runner-Up prizes will be sent within 28 working days of the competition closing.
11. Prize winners agree to take part in publicity in connection with this competition and prize draw. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the name, photograph, video footage and county of the winners after the date of the competition and prize draw in perpetuity
12. The name of the winners will be available by writing to Santander Facebook Competitions, Santander, Brand and Communication Floor 3, Santander UK plc, 201 Grafton Gate East, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 1AN within 28 days of the published closing date. No other correspondence will be entered into regarding the prize winners.
13. Participants in the promotion agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any participant found to be abusing or tampering with the operation of the Promotion, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be in violation of the terms and conditions.
14. The Promoter’s decision is final and no other correspondence will be entered into.
15. Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for lost, late, damaged, corrupted or misdirected entries or claims and the Promoter is not responsible for any late or misdirected delivery of communications (email or otherwise), except in the event of wilful intent on the part of the Promoter or its agents.
16. The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion to verify the winners and refuse to award prizes or withdraw prize entitlement where there is, or the Promoter has reason to believe there is, or has been, a breach of these terms and conditions or the spirit of the promotion has been compromised.
17. Trademarks, logos and names of the products and retailers are the property of their respective owner.
18. To the fullest extent permitted by law and excluding death or permanent injury caused as a result of the Promoter’s negligence, the Promoter accepts no liability for loss or injury as a result of the Promotion or receipt or misuse of any prize.
19. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the terms and conditions will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
20. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. You are providing your information to the Promoter, not Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for the purpose of facilitating the Promotion unless you have agreed to its use for any other purpose. By entering the Promotion, all Participants agree to give Facebook a complete release from any and all legal liability in connection with the Promotion.
