  • Afternoon all :hello:

Tis a horrible, wet and nasty day out there. Got soaked to the backside walking back from DD's nursery and it's only 4 minutes away

Also got my T's Finest coupons from the Orchard as well, just need to work out what to get with them! Possibly feel a coupon shop coming on, got a load of CC voucher and a CS to use so will need to get my planning head on :D

Sorry to hear about your friend aau, thoughts with you and Mrs aau :A

    Afternoon all.

Still super poorly. Went to the GP and she sent me packing saying my sinuses were blocked. It's my chest that is infected and in pain. My nose and all that is fine! Doh.

Did anyone get their REEBOK money back? I paid via PayPal and it has still not been returned. Will have to chase it up soon.

Also, did anyone buy anything from Debenhams last month when they had the "spend £40 on your Debenhams Mastercard and get 500 free points"? I made 2 x purchases, got the my monthly statement today and no sign of the 2 x 500 points on it! Will have to chase that up too!

Finally, popped into a Sada (ex Netto). They had heaps of ANIMAL IN MY POCKET and PUPPY IN MY POCKET toy things down from £1 to 10p. It was a foil wrapper with a little squidgy dog/pet in it.

Also saw some REDUCED TO CLEAR signs in the pet food/healthcare section. I think there were some flea drops that were heavily reduced. Didn't pay much attention as I don't have pets, but if you do, and are in Sada, you might just want to have a quick look.

There will no doubt be a glut of people now who will be asking RBS to compensate them for all the very expensive electrical items that they couldn't buy yesterday with 20% discount due to the card problem ! The spokeswomen on TV this morning has lost her marbles by suggesting that RBS will sort something out for such things - paying back excess charges incurred due to late payments and payments for the sheer b***** inconvenience is one thing but to suggest that people can ask for compo just because they missed a bargain is another. There is no way to tell if people are being honest - and, being a cynical old moo, I reckon there will be a mass of false claims from people jumping on the bandwagon. I quite fancy some compo for the missed 25%discount on the £3000 home entertainment system that I wanted to buy:rotfl:!

I saw this on BBC and a couple other sites promoting it and it just encourages scamming and can't see the banks paying out for this...

you may just have a case if you bought said £3000 home entertainment system today and can prove it was £2250 online yesterday...tho I hope Natwest will tell the scammers to jog right on!!
