Warning to anyone that banks with NatWest/ UlsterBank/ RBS. Major fail on their computer systems and cards are being declined.

Very annoying, DS2 is away at uni and trying to pay for a prescription, card was refused. His emergency card has no money on it and I can't transfer from wither of my accounts to his. :(

I cannot believe this has happened again :mad: natwest are my main bank and it's was a total pain the last time this happened. I can log onto online banking.....I know some can't. I had bills due out today and yesterday that haven't been paid. One is DS1s rent for his flat

If it's not sorted by the morning, can your son get to a branch to get sorted out? They were pretty helpful in the branches last time. I hope he doesn't need his prescription desperately :(

it's the shades 9 pack. In white only, not other varieties like quilted etc. Not that easy to find, mostly in the small stores I believe HTH

Thanks fairclaire.:) I might have to venture out of my territory then, as my local Sada is a massive superstore...

You're welcome. I think the ex-netto stores are the best place to find them :)

I'm sure by morning it will be fixed. If not he can borrow from a friend. Tonight he had walked to the pharmacy and the card failed, so he then walked somewhere to get money out and the card failed again. Then he walked home (uni house share) to get his back up card, walked to cash point and no money in that back up account. Phoned me to transfer money in and I couldn't log in to transfer money over. By the time all this is done the pharmacy has shut.
