  • You may get allowed to use both of the £3 off £12 dairy even though one says from 3rd December, that was what was happening online, worth a try if you are goning anyway? Could just say sorry I didn't look or something if it gets rejected!

I accidentally tried using the dec moc last week, the till says customer not allowed to use this coupon.
We then scanned the nov one and it scanned fine.

Sorry Lou - but just read your post. A good start would be to make lists of everything you have in your cupboards & freezer. You can then work out what you need to buy (as opposed to what you would like to buy) to make proper meals for your family. There are some excellent money saving menu threads on MSE - will look for some for you and also its a good idea to menu plan. Lots of examples online.

I'm sure others will come up with lots of helpful info for you :)

The wife has just heard that the ninth Clutha victim may be known to us

Name yet to be officially announced but relatives have been told to prepare themselves :(

So sad, even the youngsters in work were talking about it. I think that's the reality of it being so close to home. Disasters etc that are far away can seem less poignant.
