That's nice to hear you had a fab time with your dad hope he will let you take his photo.
Will you be sending him home with a goodie bag ?

If I can find the energy to pack one! Lol
Think he has already put a few things to one side and is sure I have a problem with wine even though I keep reasuring him it is a collection problem only.

Don't think I have ever spent so much on one of his visits but found new artist acrylic set I wanted tuesday and today we went to outlet place in d0ver and I got a lush very unique scarf then a trip to my towns new home bargains where we got very cheap canderel and yorkshire tea plus a few other bits.

Am very behind on mums xmas shopping list but hope to get down to it next week once I have recovered.
Tomorrow night I am going to see Catching Fire at cinema with youngest ds using the £2.50 cc points tickets I got in the summer then a nice meal before collapsing in my hotel room.
Ds1 has just informed me he is out of dishwasher tablets so a glitch would be nice. Plus a holiday glitch for january.

Dad still doesnt know my sister is going away for xmas so will be a rough time ahead but not my job to tell him luckily.

  • Anyone get trouted on the nouvelle coupon? I only managed to get one on my email. I tried to claim a free pack this evening in Tesco and it was refused because there are loads of counterfeit coupons around. The trout took the coupon of me and when I said I wanted it back he warned me to never use it in a Tesco store again

I went to co-op with mine, they had 4 packs. DS2 carried them whilst I helped my mum. We got to the tills and she kept saying really loud that we were robbing the co-op. I ended up taking her to the car and leaving DS2 to 'purchase' the toilet rolls without his gran shouting he was robbing them! No wonder the SA called the manager down, they discussed it, DS2 explained it. I don't think they were understood, but let him have them for Free!! :D

Then gran acquired the loo roll!

  • Had a lovely message today from a relative of Mads - she said the floral tribute was beautiful and she had had lots of explaining to do re Elite to relatives that were not aware of Mads 'other life' lol She also said she had told them of the JustGiving charity fund and passed on some of the lovely comments. And people were bemused and cringing when Mads special song was played :)

And she asked that thanks be passed on to everybody:)
