This will make you laugh I had been married 7 1/2 years when we had my DS my ratbag hubby gave me a thank you card :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I still got it in in DS baby book .

In all the 16/17 year we were married that was the one and only card I got given and never received any presents from him ;)

You got a card, which was one up on me! But as yours was also a ratbag I think you deserve the card and at least he was thanking you... I bet it was cheaper than the baby cards!

But I do have to admit that after DS1 was born he (well his mother) bought the most hideous illuminous plastic flowers you had ever seen. I used to cringe whenever someone came into the house, many friends burst out laughing when they saw them!

He did promise a diamond... and I got a sewage tank!

But, if I really was clueless, I suspect I wouldn't know would I?

Some people have less affinity to animals than others, so whereas we can all understand someone losing a relative, the emotions felt on someone else's loss of a pet will depend on the individual's attitude to animals. So non-animal lovers can sympathise but not empathise.

It's alright - no-one will have noticed that I hadn't update my sig.
Otherwise they would have given a response saying so.

(Clueless on that last point! In other words, I can't be, as I wouldn't have recognised it there if I was.)
