Thanks fc, I'm concentrating on breathing at the minute - haven't quite worked up to moving yet. :rotfl:I didn't actually realise just how painful fractured ribs are! I definitely don't bounce as well as I used to.

hope you don't need to cough - if you do hold it. It helps
The day after I did mine, I was on the phone to a doctor friend, and he made me go and get a bag of peas out of the freezer to put on it, while I was on the phone. It helped massively

Morning all, a little mishap involving an arthritic ankle, a couple of fractured ribs and lots of morphine - I seem to have lost a week, and have had to hop skip and jump (I wished ) over 100 pages!
I think I've missed your birthday TM, so belated 'Birthday Wishes'to you and anyone else I've missed.
RIP Mad, I hope today goes exactly as planned for Mad's nearest and dearest. I will be thinking of you all today.

I don't think I'll be back from playgroup in time for 11am but I'll certainly have some reflective time at some point today
Chris, ouch! Hope your resting up and that you're up and about more comfortably soon♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

Just come back from Asda. Hubby being from US was hoping it would be the same as Walmart over there - Wasn't!
ONLY saw the items on the list. Ours had loads of the TV's 32" DVD's etc. All Tv's went in the 1st 15 mins - had to be 50+ instore. People were given tickets for the phone as they went in - 200?
Virtually everything was wiped clean by 8.30am. They still had about a dozen steam mops, vacuum cleaners. LOADS of big packs of batteries and loads of bulbs.
RIP Mad:A Will be thinking of you and yours today.0 -
