Managed to get a refund on 2 cod slips yesterday, they had to ask tech manager, but said yes on this occasion. I said S was cheaper, they said I only had 3 days to use the slip, but I argued it doesn't say that on the slip. I said a GC would be fine, but they gave me cash :)

The blinking thing does not scan either which does not help:D:D

Not sure if I have spotted a glitch but unable to test it in store until DH home this evening as still can't drive/push buggy.

Last night had a Ts grocery delivery and had ordered tree decs but was subbed peppermint candy canes.

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=278543317

Online it says £2 each or part of 2 for £2 multibuy.
On my receipt they went through till at £1 each.
In the discounts section £2 deducted for multibuy....
    ?? free :D

  • Just had a phone call saying my comp is sending hundreds of 'error' messages to Microsoft and unless I go through the steps over the phone to correct it, they will cancel my Microsoft! Is this a scam that I think it is? Thanks in advance.

    Morning.

We have a lidl opening next week. First 100 people get a golden envelope with a gift, including TVs! They open at 8am, i have to drop ds1 at school next door at 7:45, then usually go straight to other school with my little two, and read in the car. It will be a nice change for them I am sure! It is in what I would class a squite a poor area so will be interesting to see how tempted the dole dossers are to get up that early:rotfl:

They evidently had 100 golden envelopes at the new Aldi this morning.

I arrived about 7-40 and went straight into the new underground carpark. There was only one other car in there, so I thought it was going to be a very quiet opening. (I didn't know that the carpark had only just opened) When I got upstairs there were hundreds of people queueing around the store and down the road!

People had been at the store since before 6, armed with folding chairs, flasks and sandwiches!

Needless to say I wasn't any where near the first 100!:(

The funniest thing was, whilst waiting to get in, I watched some of the people who had got golden envelopes, go straight in, collect their prize and leave the store without doing any shopping!!

This might be old news, but I noticed loads of sale SEl's on laundry products in Sainsbury's last night. Too many to mention, but detergents, stain removers and whiteners. Most were half price but included their own bio powder 50 washes for £3.50
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
