    Debt-free and Proud!
Anyone else think the latest Harvey Nics campaign #SpentItonmyself is kinda.....douchy? I thought it was a joke at first. I don't know how you can base an entire Christmas campaign on being selfish.....

    The mind boggles
    Debt free 6th December 2014 :)

Are you sure no baileys in yours as I didn't see mine straight away the leaflets and magazine were hiding it. ;)

    Evening all:wave::wave:,
We went to the Christmas evening tonight, and although the goodie bags were one between the 2 of us and we didn't want to route through it all while there ( I gave it to my friend as I get enough bargains from T's already) what I saw was a tin of quality street, a huge tin of shortbread, a massive bag of chocolate coins, a miniature bottle of baileys and then I don't know if there was anything else underneath, I will have to ask her. I don't know if it is area specific, we are at the razor corner one, if that helps? The bag was really heavy though:D

What have you got in the indoor freezer TS? Is it stuff that you could realistically meal plan for and use up over the next few weeks (even if it means some weird meal concoctions)?

At least if you could empty and defrost it you would at least gain the top compartment back for re-filling...Christmas/New Year whoopsies will be upon us before we know it ;)

I am not organised with what is where. :o Most of the meat is outside in the chest freezer. Except for some chicken breasts indoors. We have already planned to have a pack tomorrow. :)

Indoors has mostly Chinese takeaway tubs with homemade soups, curries, chillis, frozen raspberries and home grown veg. And don't laugh cooked red cabbage, chestnut stuffing and gravy made last xmas ready for this year. :rotfl:

Mr TS has been exciting his work colleagues with weird and wonderful smells. The kale and black pudding soup didn't go down well.

I need to brave the garage and use up bits from there so the takeaway tubs can fit in instead. But if I am honest I don't really have a clue what is in there, I have vague recollections of buying some things but it is like a big lucky dip. :o

The bag was certainly big enough for more. ;)

Good to hear some Ts being more generous. :T

    From the Guardian website.
Sports retailer Reebok has apologised to thousands of shoppers who placed orders for £100 pairs of trainers after a website glitch meant they were only charged for delivery.

The company has refused to honour the orders, which are worth hundreds of thousands of pounds, but will refund postage and packing and offer customers a 20% discount off future orders.

The pricing glitch emerged earlier this week and quickly went viral on Facebook and sport and price deal forums, meaning shoppers rushed to snap up the £99.95 CrossFit Nano Speed footwear for just £8.50 postage. The loophole, which has now been closed, involved the sale of trainers which people could customise with their own choice of colour combination and name.

Within 24 hours the Reebok website stated it had received orders for 328,815 pairs of personalised trainers.

A spokesman for the firm, now owned by Adidas, said: "There was an IT glitch resulting in the YourReebok CrossFit Nano Speed shoes being incorrectly priced at £0 instead of £99.95.

"Clearly, it was not Reebok's intention to offer this product for free. In accordance with the Reebok Delivery Terms and applicable law, unfortunately we are unable to fulfil these orders.

"We have apologised to the consumers affected and offered them a one-off discount of 20%, which they can redeem at Reebok.co.uk to mitigate any inconvenience that this error may have caused."

I admit I do sometimes feel sorry for retailers where they have a glitch :o. I see on some discussion forums people expressing outrage and indignation that their order has not been honoured but seriously, can we blame them?

I have taken advantage of glitches as much as anyone else, but I am under no illusion that I have a right to it and fully expect that when they spot it they will stop it (until then, game on ).

Now reading back to find out what glitches I have been missing and prepare for my next shop :).
