On the subject of the two mins silence on the 11th of the 11th. I tried for a week to get a hold of the senior for the person who set off the alarm, eventually a week to the day I sent an e mail. I was very measured and calm by then (though still angry and upset). I got an e mail back about 5 hours later to say they had discussed it at managerial level and could see no reason for this and no excuse for it and would investigate it further.
I have not spoken to the woman since, and she is very quiet I hear, so the answer really is, I have no idea what has/has not been said or done, but I felt it was right for me to have done what I did.

Log onto your icloud on a computer and do find my iPhone/ipad

Cancer Research and other organisations that help defeat cancer are ones that always tug at my heart-strings nowadays, after, sadly, having lost several people to this. I shall certainly be giving some donation to cancer charities again very soon.
