A small gesture to show just how much our friend "Mad" touched so many people's lives with his sense of humour and humanity, and will be much missed by all who knew him. May God rest your soul Fred. With much love from the Elite xx
Absolutely spot on, QoC. Well done from this member of the Elite.:T:T:T0 -

yes to both. careful though peeps, it was my 1st time with this freebee. I was asked if I wanted syrup in the coffee's I said yes. but it was £1.20 total for a shot in each. it was lovely but I'm tight so wont be getting that in December. I just got to say. the cake was huge (mine was half eaten in pic).
thank you john Lewis.
We got a pot of tea, just about 2 cups and a huge slice of Christmas cake - shared this as we just had one voucher between us.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I've logged on a few times these past few days but couldn't bring myself to post. I dont know whether to be happy or sad i've been swinging between both emotions. Firstly its my lovely gds birthday
also my best friends who I lost to the big c a few years ago. Then I found out my dd's friend was killed abroad, he had no travel insurance
.But thanks to the generosity & community spirit of many friends & strangers who have donated to a fundraising page to bring him home, have managed to raise in excess of £10,000 in as many hours. A huge effort in such a short space of time.
Hope you peeps dont mind me posting this, just needed to get it out in the opn. (so to speak). Thanks for listening.xx

I've asked them to email me a pic when it's done so I can post it on here for you guys
While I couldn't be totally MSE about it, I got a 5% discount for ordering online. The total cost was £166.25
The remaining balance will be sent to the hospice
Well done everyone:T

So this thread will fall silent for two minutes me thinks :A
I've let the family know the significance of the word 'Elite' for Mad in case people were puzzled and wondering what the tribute meant. Also let them know how much has been raised for Cancer Research in his memory and that we would like to donate the left over money to the hospice that looked after Mad.0 -
I was thinking, as I passed the razors - SP Disposable Razors vs M 24p, there's another one:D:rotfl: - that what I could remember up to that point would be likely to do the head in of any normal person.
Not me though.:D:D:):j:j0 -

Around here motorists park on the pavements and us pedestrians have to walk in the road . I always wonder who would be at fault if someone got run over due to having to walk onto the road.
They never get booked so it mustn't be an offence to park on the pavement.0
