How did buying the McWilliams reduce the cost of the shop please?

    Because you get 25% off the full £8.99 x 2 price :)

    6 x £5 = £30
    25% = £7.50
    £30 - £7.50 = £22.50

    4 x £5 = £20
    2 x £8.99 = 17.98 ( pay £10)
    total £37.98
    25% = £9.50

    £30-£9.50= £20.50

    Hiya.:)

    :naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty:

I've popped into "a Morrisons store" on the way back tonight - main reason was because I will be doing my own Avs M shopping this week. I have a few Campbell's soup coupons left and, with Campbell's Condensed being 50p in M, wanted to know what to put with them. So, as a side-effect, you can all benefit as I attempt to build an M list (from memory:D).

The usual SP items seem to be on, except for SP Tea (M 37p:eek:). Not Ravioli or Macaroni Cheese tins either - they likely will compare and it's only a few pence so you could buy them, but prices on those recently increased 'everywhere' so I'm no longer doing so. Instead, I'd get SP Baked Beans 24p M (410g) - maybe T's cheaper, don't know offhand yet, I haven't checked? And a good one seems to be SP Curry Sauce 440g (M 20p). Styling Gel I would avoid though - my store SEL saying 37p:eek: although when I had that before APG still came back with 15p for M.

The SP tinned soups (400g Chicken, Vegetable, Tomato) - can anyone confirm from wombles whether M is now returning at 24p on the APG (perhaps it will update later in the week, tomorrow onwards)? They were 30p for M last week - store tonight clearly has 24p on all three - please confirm if you can!

So I went to M, intentionally to collect prices. Didn't do the overt pen and paper but pure looking and remembering (then or later) - so there will be some illicitly remembered (or otherwise) prices appearing soon!:D Plan was to go into M, do a quick trip (walk-round) the store, remember what I'd seen, then go back to my car in the car park and write as much down as I could (then perhaps go back in and get a few more).

It happened though I came out of the store (after visiting every grocery aisle within an hour - or almost every, I missed out the wines as none of the straight prices in M will be cheaper than the effective cost for a bottle on the T wine glitch, so no good on Avs M as still costing more, and we didn't manage to find any that compare on Tvs M). I decided I wasn't going to sit in a cold car (I could put the heating on of course but you'll know that's not the point in what I'm saying here) but instead would get back here (allowing myself time to forget:() and then recall as many as I could:T.

So I got back to the car... and realised I'd seen the price of everything except the Campbell's soups I went to 'look at' originally!:rotfl::rotfl: So had to go back in to see the Campbells at 50p (don't know how my attention was diverted to every other soup in the aisle - including the Crosse & Blackwell 4 pack tomato soup M at £2.00. Prices on that do go down to a low of £1.49, but vs £2.00 is not as bad as it could be. As it seems T no longer have this product on their website (and therefore not on Msm), but now stocked in A and it's Avs M! Not Northern Ireland sorry. The rest of us hope it's vs M, as this is a fairly new addition to Mr M so it's possible it may still give an N/A return on the Morries comp.

Glad I went back to see the Campbell's though, as I passed back via the Hula Hoops 7 pack and reminded that they are 87p. Also spotted some bogof batteries that might go on Avs M. Might. As again it could be a new special purchase thing and missed off the APG (that said, often when I've said this before, it's then surprisingly still been picked up correctly by the APG and wasn't the risk I thought!).

Back soon with as much as I can remember - in no particular order, except the order in which the compartments of my mind happen to spark up. In fact, it seems a bit easier than revising for exams - when I've done that, I remember what I can from my notes and don't usually remember where in the notes I found it or the page number of the notes. The trip instore though - gives me twice the opportunity to remember, either by straight remembering the items and prices or by remembering that I went through the store, remembering my walk around the store and what I saw and where (and what pricing:D:D).

Afternoon all, I'm just catching up but wanted to post and say first of all mgamble I'm sorry for your loss, please take care of yourself in the days to come. It's a busy and testing time x

Secondly I've just been having a much needed roll around the floor laughing at the calendar, its brilliant! Well done neosi and all the ladies, loved the tights Nannylala! :rotfl:Marvellous, and the tribute to Mad was lovely, I'm sure he'd greatly approve.

DH is sounding much better today, though he's still undergoing tests, but he's starting to talk about wanting to leave hospital so he must be feeling better. :) Thanks for all your good wishes, the support on here in times of stress is great. :A
Been skipping a lot today but did catch your news. So glad to hear that he is slowly on the mend xx

=gocat;63882505]Hope ok to put here. A friend of mine has set up this petition.
This is about getting LOVEFILM to subtitle their films, so that deaf and hard of hearing people can access them. I wanted to join them, but didn't when we realise they hardly ever have anything with subtitles. You would be doing me a favour directly if you signed this petition. Many thanks! :)
    https://www.change.org/petitions/lovefilm-all-we-want-for-christmas-is-subtitles

    tia :)

I have signed this and also passed this to my sister as she is deaf and has been since she was a baby and I know she gets really frustrated by this.

    Thank you very much. :)
