I finally got 320 pts for an Arcadia e-voucher from McV's and it got emailed without any proof needing sent in :j Also got two £25 3V cards from T's and got 350CC points using the two magazine vouchers (I didn't want any of the 20% off ones as I couldn't see any stuff on the Arcadia group's websites that I needed for Christmas prezzies except for Evans).
My head's actually spinning trying to work out the best way to use some of the gift cards/voucher codes, when to double up with Boost/Nectar etc. It's a minefield out there!
Has anybody heard of shopperdiscountsandrewards.co.uk? I clicked on something on the Argos website where it linked to the above and they're offering £15 cashback (paid by cheque) for Argos. I had to sign up free for 30 days, then I have to buy something in Argos and send them the receipt - and I'll also remember to cancel before my 30 days is up or it's £10 a month to be a member  I haven't lost anything if it doesn't happen though. Many a mickle makes a muckle.0 -

Evening all
Great Job on the calender to all involved
My day not been so good.
Birthday yesterday, friend got attacked by a neighbour's dog on her way home:(.
Didn't know anything about it until neighbour rang on door this morning.
This dog has previously gone for me and had to get back in the house double quick to avoid it.
Dog jumped out of car and went for friend sinking it's teeth into her coat and arm. She had an umbrella in other hand and hit it over the head with that.
Neighbour all upset wanting to know what friend is going to do, tells me dog was just protecting its territory. Obviously thinks it owns the whole close  .
Tell me it's a rescue dog and they look after it really well.
Friend says she thinks the dog should be put down as it could attack child, but she is not going to report it and I should tell the neighbour.
Have been to tell her, says daughter is going to take dog.
Friend is in shock, neighbour probably thinks I'm horrible and everyone in the Close seemed to know about it before me.
Good grief that is awfulthe dog needs to be reported. So many stories lately of children being attacked badly and even killed by aggressive dogs.
A dog attacking people without provocation like that isn't right. I do hope the neighbours daughter who is taking the dog doesn't have children?
Bless, Sue you sound really upset about it. Hugs :A0 -

Just want to wish you all the luck in the world. Your son is fortunate as he has a mum that never gave up on being a mum. Sadly his dad never really understood what a dad was.
Your dad made the wrong choice and failed to put the child first, it is clearly evident when the court decided to end his contact.
People should only be in our lives when they deserve to be or you are strong enough to manage them safely.
Keep up the mummying as sons often need this throughout their life.
You're a star

Thanks for your kind words.
I will say, i dont ever think for a moment that sons dad doesnt love him. He just got obsessed with getting one over on me and forgot the part about being a real parent.
Me and hubby often talk about ex... How must he feel not being able to see hus son for so long, i know how we felt. He hasnt even tried. He is allowed to write to a po box 6 times a yr but never has.
I even got a different car and parked discreetly by his school for 6 weeks every night at 3 just so i could see a glimps e him. Then someone told ex, and he removed son from school.
Thats when i decided we had to mkve away before i did something stupid! Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
