Why not just pop into Morries? (Would be a whole load easier I feel than searching through receipts that contain random items and are less likely to hit on the right item e.g. the Palmolive Shower Gel - what was the point as it's not on offer in M? - or the right quantity - doesn't tell us whether or not the Jakemans have an mbuy in M (I suspect not).)

I've highlighted the ones that would probably have made my list if I were still able to do it. I've not looked at whether other competitors than M are cheaper though. I'd also consider those Toffee Penny desserts as they are at £1 in A and return N/A for M, although the straight £1 is 10% more expensive than what it would be when a major supermarket competitor of A goes on £1 offer on them.

I wouldn't buy that many bananas in one go though. Split them between shops and then they can count again and again as an item on each subsequent Avs T or Avs M shop.

The SP Cooked Ham has been removed from vs M as SP Wafer Thin version Cooked Ham 400g is now cheaper - that's on Avs S. On the Trimmed Beans and Green Beans, I was looking yesterday to see which were cheaper per g. and found (limited to msm) A Green Beans 225g vs T's £1 ones on their 220g, works out about 92p net. on APG for 225g (which would be 90p net if they were 220g), but Aldi Farm Fresh Green Beans 220g are cheaper in any event at 89p.

The A Green Beans 400g at £1.65 (£4.13/kg) are next cheapest - I'm looking at fresh ones - don't know if the 400g one is comparable to M (I'm looking for an N/A btw there as I think it more likely M would be slightly more than 10% more expensive if it stocked an equivalent) - appears to be 'fillable' on A vs T, S or W.

I see prices of £1 on 650g and 600g Satsumas in the major supermarkets quite often. I'd get these items in Aldi or Lidl though as they go down to 49p and 69p in those places sometimes. Avoid £1 pricing - it's way too expensive on them;).

As for the 'latest' on the fruit (latest as of yesterday anyway, probably changed again by now:() - and beware this is sounding like an advertisement:eek: - 'Fun'size Apples and 'Fun'size Pears in Lidl at 89p, Conference Pears at 99p in Aldi (says 6 pack but there were more in my pack than that and still went through at 99p).

The apples, even though smallsize, are enough for me, and there's slightly more number of fruit and I usually only eat around the peel on them anyway nowadays as I watched an 'Horizon' programme related to healthy living and the rest of fruit is just sugar. Then I just put more sugar back in my diet by having sweets or chocolate:(:(.:rotfl:

Brown Onions at 75p (1.1kg) are way expensive, even though I think in truth M has 1kg ones (which should be picked up by the APG as they are within 10% weight range) much more expensive!! So that may be a 'glitch' in our favour - but, don't fall for it! 1kg Onions much cheaper in, I think it's Lidl at 49p. Not knowing my onions see!

A technical question.
I had a little play with scanner on msl yesterday on things in my house.When I scanned a bottle of fairy liquid it scanned as Airwick Freshmatic max automatic unit instead of fairy.

Is barcode unique to products or can there be same barcode on several things?

Is msl directly linked to msm?
