If you have a look in the £1 shops, they have some really decent quality stainless steel balti dishes and stainless steel trays , i often do curry nights and have used these dishes many many times, they really are good quality.

:T:T I was going to order some of these from ebay, will go £1 shop hunting tomorrow instead :D

    Okay, ideas time please in.....
    Daveys corner!

I am doing a curry hamper for someone, things in it so far are a couple of pans (indian wok thing and a sizzle pan.
Other ideas are a nice spice holder and some indian spices, of course a case of cobra, a pack of pompodoms and a cookbook (hairy bikers one, or other suggestions welcome.) what else could I include please?

    How about :

Butcher's Meaty Goodness in Jelly Puppy (6x400g)

    A £3.48 x 2 £6.96

    T £3.20 ANY 2 FOR £6.00.

    Apg £1.56

    Clicksnap £3.00

    Cost £2.40.

Not sure what it tastes like in curry.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

Hi, could someone tell me which pack of Sada loo rolls compare to Tosco nicely please? I read back the thread and searched for it in vain.
I'm down to 1 loo roll now and panic is setting in:eek:

Also if there are anything I could add to A vs T shop I'd love to know.

    T.I.A.

it's the shades 9 pack. In white only, not other varieties like quilted etc. Not that easy to find, mostly in the small stores I believe HTH

work out £1 each here too, not sure if you want 6 though. The ones in £1 shop are the same and they also have stainless steel rice plates. Well worth a look.

Hello all :) Thank you all for your support the other day, a week on I am feeling not so down but celebrating the friend we all lost here...MadMuppet RIP:A

    Ello cheeky :rotfl:

MKS...No...Thank you for your post, don't be saying so to me. You made me smile :) Mad is probs looking at us / watching us from wherever he is and seeing the good he did. I give full credit to him for me getting back in touch with my now elderly poorly uncle. He is so happy, he told me yesterday - he cries all the time just thinking about how lovely it is that I have remembered him. Silly sod, I love him to bits...i won't forget him and will now make sure he is well cared for after his op.

Make sure your bro and you stay in touch and plan some alone brother time at least once a month. Will be nice for you both :)

Now lets see if there are any glitchy's..... am down to my last box of crunchy nut cereal  emergency, Emergencyyyyyyyyyyyyy peeps. Help :rotfl::rotfl:

The Crunchy Nut appeal has been heard:). Sadly best I can think of is the 750s in Sains (vs A) with a cond spend. 26.7p/100g (£2) is too dear though - these go down to £1.57, but not that often. Hoping that Mr M might come to the rescue:D - but I can't see any cereals on M's website at all, so seems no cereals on offer? FWIW, the 'usual' price of £2.89 on some teabags. Come on Mr M... Crunchy Nut pleassssse...
