Hi,
Got a Dell C521 with 512MB of memory. The memory occupies 1 slot (out of 4).
I would like to get an extra 1GB of memory for it. My question is: do I need to buy 2 x 512M or can I buy 1 x 1GB?
What is the cheapest reliable one out there?

RAM works best it pairs but it does not matter.
Check out http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listparts.aspx?model=Dimension+C521 for what type of RAM you need then serach the Internet for the cheapest price dont forget if you go via crucial you get http://www.quidco.com/ 7% back.0
